Grammaticus offers iOS-native versions of three essential grammars for studying Greek and Latin: Smyth's Greek Grammar, Allen and Greenough's New Latin Grammar, and Goodwin's Syntax of the Moods and Tenses of the Greek Verb. These texts are complemented with robust tools for searching and navigation. Using Grammaticus, users gain access to the complete texts of these works, as presented on the Perseus Project website, along with various features:

  • Browse the table of contents for each grammar or directly jump to a section by entering its number offline.
  • Utilize full-text search capabilities in English, Greek, and Latin to locate specific topics or words.
  • Search for citations by author or work, with the option to view cited passages on the Perseus website (Internet connection required).
  • Bookmark frequently accessed sections for easy retrieval and keep track of your browsing history.

The content available through Grammaticus is in the public domain, thanks to the exceptional work of the Perseus Digital Library and Gregory Crane, its editor-in-chief. If you appreciate this application, you may consider contributing to the Perseus project by visiting their donation page.
